'Soulstice' is the astounding third album from local dancefloor kings, Shapeshifter. It features the single "Bring Change", as well as appearances from KP, Kye + a scorching track from Ladi 6. Over the last few years, Shapeshifter have built a reputation for their intense, uplifting & joyous "in concert" d'n'b sets. With 'Soulstice' they've managed to realize that vibe in the studio, via a far denser musicality than on previous albums. In practical terms that means there is more "live" instrumentation and wicked playing throughout this recording, which helps make it their most impressive release yet.
